The ideal candidate will be willing to travel Australia-wide to complete works (travel, accommodation, meals and living away allowance are paid plus regular breaks to return home).

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in fencing construction in either security, commercial, residential and rural fencing, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of installation techniques, materials, and industry standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations within the construction industry.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Valid driver’s license.

THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS ARE A PLUS:

  • White Card
  • Forklift licence
  • MR/HR/HC heavy vehicle licence
  • Any high-risk work licences
  • Various plant and machinery tickets
  • Relevant technical certifications or vocational training.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of fencing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within budget.
  • Supervise a team of construction workers, providing clear instructions and guidance to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution and effective communication.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify any issues, and implement corrective measures as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Track project expenses, monitor resource allocation, and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment for construction projects.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
