Job Description Do you want to turn innovative fermentation ideas into practical solutions for sustainable food? At the Cosun Innovation Center in Dinteloord, we are looking for a Fermentation Specialist. The Fermentation Specialist executes and reports on practical experimental work related to fermentation technology. The Fermentation Specialist contributes to the knowledge development of the fermentation capability and the successful delivery of the research and/or New Product Development projects. You will work closely with Scientists, project managers and cross-functional project members. Your main mission is to: Prepare the execution of the experimental design, including planning, material ordering and laboratory set-up according to known procedures in a safe manner Executes the experimental work at lab scale, pilot scale and/or possibly factory scale Ensuring robust documentation and reporting of results in a clear and structured manner Support the analysis, interpretation, and processing of results of experiments Present and discuss results with the team, project team or other departments Assist in continuous improvement of the design, development and operation of bench and pilot scale experiments and their associated procedures / SOP Maintain lab facilities and equipment, ensuring safety and good housekeeping standards are met Qualifications Your profile BSc in Bio-, Chemical-, Process or Food Engineering/Technology 1–4 years of experience in laboratory and pilot-scale test setups and experimentation Ideally experienced in fermentation for the food industry Team player with strong interpersonal skills and experience in cross-functional collaboration Pragmatic, proactive, independent, and hands-on with a can-do mentality Organized, data-driven, curious, and open-minded Additional Information What do we offer?
