ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an innovative, passionate and experienced arts communications and partnerships professional to join our dynamic festivals team.
An exciting new role, the Festivals Communications and Partnerships Officer works under the supervision of the Executive Producer Festivals to plan, develop and implement the marketing plans, audience engagement and development functions for the Arts Merri-bek festival program. In addition, the role identifies and maintains strategic partnership and sponsorship relationships across the program.
Arts Merri-bek festivals include the Brunswick Music Festival, Sydney Road Street Party, Glenroy Festival, Fawkner Festa, Coburg Night Market and Carols by the Lake. They are unique events with different audiences and expectations and take place in different environments. Our festivals and events centre Merri-bek’s diverse community and provide opportunities for artists, community participation and celebration.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about community and festivals, speaking to audiences and building partnerships through working collaboratively with a small and dedicated team in a great inner-city Council.
