WE BELIEVE IN THE TRANSFORMATIONAL POWER OF COMFORT Job Summary: Assembles bags filled with loose fiber to produce backs and seats for upholstered furniture. Operates a machine designed to blow fiber into sewn bags Job Description: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Obtains work order to determine appropriate bag size and quantity • Fills bag with the proper weight of fiber per the specifications for the style • Slides the bag on the table to the sealer station • Operates the sealer as needed • Loads bags onto carts for transportation to the upholstery assembly area • Moves carts to proper storage location • Fills the machine hopper with fiber • Follows health and safety standards. • Maintains a clean workstation and production floor • Performs other tasks as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above duties • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide • Capacity to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance • Teamwork skills OUR PURPOSE: We are La-Z-Boy Incorporated.
