OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Fiber Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optic systems. This role requires a strong understanding of telecommunications and networking principles, as well as hands-on experience with fiber splicing and related equipment. The Fiber Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure high-quality service delivery.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in fiber splicing techniques and low voltage electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of computer networking principles, including experience with Cisco routers.
  • Familiarity with field service operations in the telecommunications industry.
  • Ability to telecommunicate effectively for remote support and troubleshooting.
  • Experience using testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members.
