BNE are recruiting Fibre Splicers to work on projects across Bristol and Gloucestershire.
For new entrants to the industry we offer a three month training program, combining first hand onsite experience and classroom based accreditation.
Once qualified, engineers will move onto price work.
We provide ongoing supervision and support, ensuring a solid foundation for success within the telecommunications industry.
Occasional working away will be required, with accommodation and expenses paid for by the company.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience beneficial but not critical
• Consent to a CRB check
• Full driving license
• Flexibility and a strong desire to succeed.
• S11/S13 Accreditation advantageous, but not essential

• Complete pre-use checks on vehicles and equipment
• Survey and plan work before commencement
• Complete and record risk assessments
• Safely setup worksites on the highway
• Install both underground and overhead fibre joints (working at height)
• Photograph and log completed work
• Report progress to the BNE back office.
