For detailed information about Delta, please visit: www.delta-emea.com Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support our industrial automation product, including PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMI (Human-Machine Interfaces), and Remote I/O solutions. The FAE will serve as a technical expert, providing pre-sales support, application consulting, and post-sales assistance to ensure successful customer adoption and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support for PLC, HMI, and Remote I/O products, including system design, configuration, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with the sales team to deliver pre-sales technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept testing. Offer application consulting and recommend solutions tailored to customer requirements. Conduct product training for customers, partners, and internal teams. Support customers during project implementation, ensuring proper integration and optimization of automation systems. Collect customer feedback and work closely with R&D and product management to improve products and solutions. Participate in trade shows, seminars, and technical workshops to promote company solutions. Qualifications Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related field. Solid knowledge of industrial control systems, automation architecture, and networking (Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus, etc.). Hands-on experience with PLC programming, HMI design software, and Remote I/O configuration. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues in automation environments. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Willingness to travel to customer sites as required. Preferred Skills: Experience with major PLC/HMI platforms. Familiarity with SCADA, IIoT, and Industry 4.0 applications. Prior customer-facing or technical support experience.
