Mission of the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join our team dedicated to Advanced Technology Solutions (ATS). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in deploying and supporting perception software and hardware in real-world environments, and a solid understanding of system integration challenges in large-scale sensor-based solutions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation, reliability, and performance of our LiDAR-based perception platform and ATS deployments through field integration, customer support, and technical validation across diverse applications such as roadways, rail crossings, and airports. Roles and Responsibilities Collaborate with the business development team and customer to design and implement site installation layouts. Conduct regular project inspections and provide on-site support as necessary. Communicate with customers to design and test system integrations. Deliver technical training sessions for internal BD teams and external partners. Troubleshoot, resolve, and monitor system application issues to ensure stable performance. Optimize system operations by diagnosing issues, verifying stability on-site, and implementing effective solutions. Coordinate and manage overall project schedules to ensure timely execution. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience as a Field Application Engineer or equivalent, preferably in intelligent transportation systems (ITS), rail/airport safety, robotics, or 3D perception technologies (LiDAR, radar, cameras). Proven experience in designing and executing test cases for complex, real-time software. Strong proficiency with Linux operating systems and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Bilingual (English & Korean) with strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience in deploying and supporting perception software/hardware solutions for real-world field environments (e.g., roadside infrastructure, mobility, or safety-critical systems). Background in system integration, sensor calibration, and customer on-site technical support is strongly preferred..
