We are seeking a passionate, results-driven Field Application Scientist (FAS) to join our growing team and support our global reach. Title: Field Application Scientist Location: Boston, MA, United States (Remote/Hybrid) Job Type: Full-Time Position Overview As a Field Application Scientist, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth and ensuring customer success within your territory. Leveraging your strong scientific background and consultative approach, you will support both new and existing customers in the life sciences sector, including BioPharma, Biotech, CRO/CDMO organizations, and research institutes, with a focus on antibody discovery, enzyme evolution, and related applications. This is a highly visible and impactful role that involves hands-on work with advanced lab instrumentation. Ideal candidates are excellent communicators with a strong customer focus and willingness to travel up to 45–65%. Key Responsibilities Conduct pre- and post-sales technical presentations and live demonstrations at customer or DPBIO sites. Deliver comprehensive application training to customers on DPBIO’s products and technologies. Provide timely technical support and troubleshooting via email, phone, or on-site visits. Gather customer feedback and communicate product requirements internally to drive improvement. Apply structured problem-solving approaches to resolve technical and application-related issues. Contribute to the development and review of technical content, including user manuals, application notes, white papers, and presentations. Collaborate with the Sales, Service, and Marketing teams to support overall company objectives. Attend scientific conferences, trade shows, demo and customer meetings Support the sales process from lead generation through closing Support strategic partnerships, accounts, consultant relationships when needed Attend industry events and travel up to 45–65%. Qualifications M.S. or Ph.D. in a Life Sciences discipline. Extensive technical knowledge and hands-on experience with antibody screening techniques (e.g., flow cytometry, high-throughput monoclonal screening, ELISA). Familiarity with immunology, cell-based assays, and microscopy platforms; experience in modern cell and molecular biology techniques. Excellent verbal and written communication, documentation, and presentation skills. Mandarin Speaking Professional Characteristics Self-motivated and proactive with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Committed to delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships. Eagerness to learn and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. Position Requirements Ability to lift, push, pull, carry, and move equipment weighing 50+ lbs. Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
