Description

The Field Application Specialist will be responsible for offering overall product and process expertise, application knowledge and technical support along each step of the customer process. The main mission is to ensure successful application, implementation, qualification, and use of our products, by supporting sales for product positioning and demonstration whilst supporting customers for application development work, initial startup, training, and trouble shooting. Main Responsibilities & Tasks: Support the sales organization as the customer’s first point of technical contact on existing products and process for mature modality through consulting, presentations, trainings, demonstrations, trials and application studies, and on new products in close collaboration with product marketing managers/specialists through beta sites testing and product demonstrations. Support Sales in exploring new opportunity and technical support on existed opportunity like URS analysis & technical response and generate application trials to help position products in line with the application requirements. Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s challenges and needs. Provide technical qualification of sales opportunities. Responsible for facilitating Technical Closure of the sale. Assist customers for first product run, initial start-up and ensure high quality training to customers. Support territorial marketing initiatives. Support quality responsible in the quality complaint process by troubleshooting and analyzing customers processes for better investigation and resolution. Support the development of strong relationships with customers within the assigned sales territory. Report on competitors' products and feedback information to the FAS management team Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or life sciences related major. Min. 2 years working experience in biopharma, including min.1 years technical related experience. Product and application expertise for the relevant portfolio, including hands on experience for key applications. Good interpersonal and communication skills at various levels (sales, technical, users), for presentation and discussion Solid project management and problem-solving skill. Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities accordingly. Proactive, result driven and collaborative attitude.
