Change the world. Love your job. The Field Applications Engineer is responsible for partnering with Sales and providing Analog related technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. The FAE proactively identifies current products and/or creative solutions to solve existing customer projects and create new functionality/opportunities. In this role, the FAE uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to gain credibility and develop relationships with customers. Primary responsibilities include: Strategic Customer Engagement * Lead technical relationships with major mobile OEMs and ODMs * Influence customer platform architecture and drive long-term design-win strategies * Serve as the trusted technical advisor for battery management and power system solutions * Identify future customer requirements and translate them into product roadmap recommendations Technical Leadership * Provide expert-level support for Battery Charger, Fuel Gauge, Battery Protection, and PMIC products. * Lead complex system-level debugging involving hardware, firmware, and battery interactions. * Support power architecture optimization for smartphones, tablets, wearables, and other portable devices. * Perform root cause analysis for critical field issues. Cross-functional Collaboration * Work closely with Application Engineering, Systems Engineering and Marketing, Quality teams. * Drive issue resolution across global organizations under aggressive customer schedules. * Mentor junior FAEs and provide technical leadership within the regional applications team.
