Job Description What you’ll do Every day as a Senior Care Assistant is different, but your impact is always the same – life-changing. You’ll: ● Support the delivery of the highest quality care in the community ● Complete assessments and reviews of individual care services ● Provide practical supervision, instruction, and support to Care Assistants ● Work with Care Coordinators to plan effective and realistic care worker rotas ● Carry out regular needs and risk assessments, including renewed and repeated reviews ● Participate in multi-disciplinary reviews of service users’ needs ● Shadow new care workers to ensure their competence and confidence ● Observe and evaluate care worker practice as part of routine supervision or when performance concerns arise ● Provide personal care with dignity and respect ● Complete essential administrative tasks linked to care delivery and service quality Senior Care Assistants spend most of their time in the community fulfilling these responsibilities, while also supporting office-based administration as required.
