Description
SSFM’S CM HIGHWAYS GROUP IS SEEKING A FIELD CLERK TO JOIN OUR TEAM. UNDER THE DIRECT SUPERVISION OF THE CM MANAGER, THE FIELD CLERK WILL PROVIDE GENERAL CONSTRUCTION CLERICAL SUPPORT TO THE CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT (CM) TEAM FOR A SPECIFIC PROJECT. THE ROLE MAY VARY SLIGHTLY DEPENDING ON THE PROJECT AND WORK LOCATION. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform general clerical and administrative duties to support the CM team. * Assist with document management, including filing, organizing, and maintaining project records. * Support the team in tracking project schedules, budgets, and deliverables. * Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and stakeholders. * Ensure compliance with administrative office procedures and project requirements. DESIRED COMPETENCIES * Administrative Skills: Proven ability to handle clerical tasks with attention to detail. * Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and external stakeholders. * Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. * Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). * Self-Starter: Motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Prior experience in an engineering, construction, or administrative environment is a plus. * Familiarity with construction management processes and terminology is desirable.
