The Opportunity For our Cardiac Rhythm Management Division CRM we are currently looking for an ambitious, well-skilled professional to join our team in Eastern Europe as a Field Clinical Engineer. This is a regional, field-based role requiring daily traveling across the territory of: Romania, Serbia, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Czechia, Slovakia and other countries in the region. This position is a temporary assignment for a period of maternity cover, with opportunity to prolong after successful collaboration. As a Field Clinical Engineer CRM you will be responsible for providing expert support and advise on the use of the Abbott portfolio within Eastern Europe. The incumbent is responsible for the promotion of Abbott Product lines through professional and technical support to both medical and sales personnel. This position is additionally responsible for ensuring that all questions of a technical nature from the field or internal sources are answered in an expeditious manner and reported to the competent authorities within Abbott. This position’s primary function is to attend implants, follow-ups and support any issues related to high voltage and low voltage stimulation devices What You'll do: Providing expert clinical consultation, teaching and support on the use of all CRM products and their appropriate application in the clinical setting. Maintain up to date technical knowledge of current and new therapies and technologies within the therapy area, including competitor devices, as well as a general understanding of the dynamics of the country healthcare market. Providing technical support to the CRM salesforce. Conduct product presentations and perform stand duty at exhibitions when requested, responding to technical questions that might be raised by EMEA or customers. Required qualifications and background: Individuals will ideally have an university degree in a science related field or engineering. Ideally electrophysiology/cardiac rhythm management or equivalent clinical experience. Cardiac anatomy and physiology knowledge would be considered as a strong asset. Native Romanian and very good command of English (both written and spoken). Strong problem-solving capabilities and customer-focus. A willingness to travel 75% of the time and ability to work autonomously. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Driving license B is a must.
