ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled and experienced sales professional to support and guide other sales professionals while maintaining an active territory and customer base. This role offers a great opportunity with a global medical device leader to further develop your supervisory and business skills.
The successful candidate will support the business in achieving sales targets, goals and objectives of the division; to aid the achievement of customer satisfaction and business growth through focused business planning; and to support customers with clinical expertise to enable optimal patient outcomes. In addition, this role will be responsible for overseeing a region and supervise a small team of Territory Managers / Clinical Specialists to provide daily guidance and support. This is a key role in the organisation ensuring physicians and patients have access to the latest medical technologies to enable optimal patient outcomes.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Daily supervision of Territory Managers / Clinical Specialists and provide guidance and coaching. Engaging and developing direct reports and fostering a high-performance team environment.
  • Escalation point for Territory Managers / Clinical Specialists regarding business opportunities, customers, concerns
  • Coaching and Development of Territory Managers / Clinical Specialists to broaden clinical and commercial skillsets
  • Develop and execute on territory plans to deliver on annual revenue commitments and build a sustainable business over the longer term.
  • Build strong relationships with existing customers, plan and develop the market for our existing and new products in line with divisional goals and objectives.
  • Completing Rhythm Management training programs and training, applying these skills in the field and maintaining a high level of technical and market knowledge on an ongoing basis.
  • Providing clinical support including patient interaction and education, device programming, patient follow up, technical and educational support, site management and coordination.
  • Work with the broader Rhythm Management team to identify training, research and engagement opportunities for new and existing customers.
  • Have sound business knowledge of the territory, identifying competitor activities, participate and manage appropriate tender agreements and customer policies and practices. Complete market analysis and regular reporting as required.
  • Completing relevant administration including reporting, stock validations and management as well as database management.
  • Building relationships with key hospital staff in the corporate suite, purchasing department and other key hospital staff related to BSC’s Rhythm Management business.
  • Attending meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required, to promote our products and services.
  • To be available to support the broader ANZ RM business on an as-needs basis.
