We are seeking a Field Competence Development Manager to lead technical and safety training initiatives that empower our field teams to deliver excellence. This is a strategic role where you’ll combine data-driven insights with innovative learning solutions to ensure our workforce is skilled, safe, and future-ready. What will you be doing? Drive operational excellence in field competence development through data analytics and KPIs Manage Training Centers and optimise their utilisation to deliver impactful learning experiences Lead and develop an Australian and New Zealand network of full-time and part-time field trainers Partner with business stakeholders to design and implement continuous development strategies Evaluate training effectiveness using quantitative and qualitative data Oversee onboarding and technical training plans for new field employees Ensure compliance with global learning standards and contribute to field maturity assessments What We’re Looking For 5–7 years’ experience in Learning & Development within a technical or field context Qualifications in engineering, safety, technical, or behavioral science preferred Experience leading a team of Learning & Development or Field Trainers Expertise in technical training, training center management, and apprenticeship programs. Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills. Knowledge of education principles, mentoring, and Learning Management Systems. There’s so much more to KONE than you may realise.
