Responsibilities

ROLE EXPECTATIONS:

  • Work closely with Construction Managers & Project Team
  • Assist with managing the construction of electric substations, distribution lines, generation upgrades, and other projects in the area
  • Execute work orders and inspections
  • Supervise contractors and make sure projects are being completed correctly
  • Establish and Manage construction materials and review material plans
  • Maintain Safety Awareness and ensure all contractors comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures to assure a safe working environment at the construction site
  • Manage activities related to coordination of field inspection and sign-offs for construction projects.
  • Collaborate with management staff to resolve problems and coordinate activities with the Construction Managers and Field Construction Managers.
  • Make sure projects and all construction resources are within the allowed scheduled and budget
  • Adhere to company policies, programs, and procedures as well as Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP), Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), New England Independent System Operator
  • Training and Guidance will be provided by the Projects Team
