Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and direct the installation of outside plant facilities across multiple platforms, ensuring all projects meet high-quality standards. Conduct quality control assessments for HFC, Copper, and Fiber plant installations to maintain network reliability. Perform skills assessments of Construction Engineers, Leaders, and Assistants, ensuring they meet the company’s performance and development standards. Develop and implement strategies to motivate and inspire your team, driving efficiency and fostering a culture of going above and beyond expectations. Collaborate with other departments to ensure service orders are completed promptly and with a high level of customer satisfaction. Continuously improve operations by identifying areas for enhancement, streamlining processes, and ensuring the team is equipped to succeed. Perform additional tasks as needed to support the successful operation of the department and Clearwave Fiber’s broader goals. Requirements What You’ll Bring: 4+ years of telecommunications experience, specifically with installing outside plant (OSP) facilities. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. Proven team leadership or supervisory experience related to OSP construction, with a strong focus on motivating teams for best-in-class results. Familiarity with the installation and maintenance (IOM) requirements for supporting triple-play services (voice, video, and data) across copper, HFC, and fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) infrastructures. Hands-on knowledge of Clearwave Fiber / Hargray’s HES system, with the ability to navigate service orders, trouble tickets, and facility records efficiently. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with the ability to travel locally as required. Working knowledge of RUS and NEC codes as they apply to outside plant design and engineering.
