Job Description The Field Interviewer is responsible for conducting respondent interviews accurately and in a professional manner. Nielsen data collection methods vary by country and project but include Face-to-Face or Telephone interviews. Field Interviewers must follow standard procedures at all times and adhere to specified project requirements and timing. Working Week: Maximum 8 hours per day, 6 days per week Location: Sharjah & Dubai Job Status: Full time interviewer Pay Information: Monthly fixed salary Project Management: Conduct interviews in a professional manner and record respondent information and responses accurately Understand the requirements of each assigned project including the questionnaire, survey method and support forms Execute interviews according to Nielsen standards and project requirements Comply with all confidentiality and security requirements Make proper introductions when contacting/screening people for a project Read the questionnaire script exactly as written Ensure all responses and outcomes are recorded truthfully and accurately Make every effort to achieve and adhere to assigned project quotas Ensure interviewing starts and finishes on the specified dates to meet delivery schedules Carry out all interviews during the standard hours of interviewing Return all survey materials to the Field Supervisor at the end of a project (or as requested) Respond to queries in a timely manner Face-to-Face interviews: Ensure ID badge is current and displayed at all times Computer Assisted Personal Interviews (CAPI): Fully understand how to use and care for the mobile device, including maintaining a usable battery level and syncing the data after interviewing (or as requested) General: Conduct all interviews and respondent interactions in a professional and courteous manner, leaving respondents with a positive view of Nielsen Dress appropriately for the interviewing environment Foster honest, two-way communication with End to End Coordinators and Field Supervisors, as well as with other project resources and teams Communicate the following to Field Supervisor in timely and objective manner: Concerns regarding training and/or project requirements Non-project related queries/issues of concern Work-related incidents, including security incidents Accurately estimate time, expenses, KMs/mileage, etc. Basic understanding of the field interview process; previous interviewing experience would be an advantage Strong communication; good “people skills” and a pleasant manner Organized and reliable; strong work ethic and highly motivated Detail-oriented; able to easily follow project instructions and field procedures Thorough understanding of the related Nielsen SOPs and fieldwork standards Good command of local language-Arabic; English (verbal & written) would be an advantage Clean, professional appearance with a clear speaking voice For CAPI/CATI Interviewers: Computer literacy and accurate keyboard skills Additional Information Our Benefits Flexible working environment Volunteer time off LinkedIn Learning Employee-Assistance-Program (EAP) NIQ may utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools at various stages of the recruitment process, including résumé screening, candidate assessments, interview scheduling, job matching, communication support, and certain administrative tasks that help streamline workflows.
