A Day in the Life The Field Development Associate supports market development and sales growth for the Pelvic Health portfolio across Benelux and France, with potential broader regional support as needed. The role focuses on driving market development activities in Benelux and providing launch, education, and operational marketing support in both France & Benelux, in close collaboration with the existing France Market Developer and the Benelux sales team. The position works closely with sales representatives and marketing to identify and develop opportunities that supports the market, product launches, education for healthcare professionals, and execute local market development plans in line with business strategy. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Market Development with Sales Teams – Benelux (Primary Focus): Partner with sales representatives in Benelux to identify, prioritize, and develop opportunities in target accounts; support territory planning, account segmentation, and market mapping (including key centres, decision-makers, and referral pathways); participate in joint customer calls to open new doors and advance opportunities through the sales funnel; monitor and report market trends, competitive activities, and customer insights to inform the commercial strategy Launch and Campaign Execution – Benelux & France: Support the execution of local launch and promotional activities for new and existing products; coordinate and implement agreed field activities (events, workshops, in-services, and demonstrations) aligned with marketing campaigns; collect feedback from customers and sales teams to refine tactics and capture best practices Physician and HCP Education – Benelux & France: Organize and support educational programs, workshops, and in-hospital sessions for physicians and other healthcare professionals; in France, deliver activities under the guidance and responsibility of the French Market Development Lead, and in Benelux under the guidance of the Sales Manager; ensure consistent, compliant messaging using approved materials, while tracking participation and outcomes Operational Marketing Support – Benelux & France: Localize and deploy marketing tools and initiatives (including materials, digital content, website adjustments, and campaigns); support operational marketing needs such as event logistics, follow-up actions, and materials management; provide structured field feedback to marketing on customer needs, barriers, and opportunities Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, regulatory, compliance, clinical, and other functions to ensure coordinated execution at the account level; in France, align closely with the French Market Development Led to ensure activity consistency and prioritization Leadership Team Participation: Actively participate in the Regional Leadership Team (Business Director), representing market development perspectives for Benelux and France Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of activities in CRM and other required systems, and operate in full compliance with Medtronic policies, local regulations, and industry codes. Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor’s degree (business, life sciences, or related field) or equivalent experience and experience in a commercial or customer-facing role (for example, sales support, marketing assistant, field coordinator, or similar) Strong interest in working in the field with sales teams and healthcare professionals Very good communication and presentation skills in French and Dutch, with strong English Customer focus and strong collaboration with sales and cross-functional partners, proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple activities and priorities across markets Learning agility and willingness to develop towards more senior commercial roles and strong ethical standards and commitment to compliance. Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare environment, supporting sales or marketing activities (events, campaigns, launches) and familiarity with CRM tools and basic data analysis (sales reports, dashboards) are considered an advantage for this role.
