For those, who have applied, do not need to apply again.  Project Context and Scope IOM RMI under the Community Resilience Unit projects, works to enhance capacity of communities and government to be more resilient to natural hazards which are heightened due to climate change. Supported by United States and Japan governments, the ongoing projects support vulnerable communities to identify risks and prioritize and implement risk mitigation measures on emergency evacuation shelters, water security and food security. In addition to these community-based initiatives, the projects promote participation of women, youth, and persons with disabilities in cliate change adaotation and disater risk reduction   Organizational Department / Unit to which the Consultant is contributing   Community Resilience Unit- Majuro, RMI
Responsibilities
The Field Engineer will be responsible for the technical development and execution of community-based WASH intervention projects and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) activities for the IOM RMI Community Resilience Unit. This role operates under the supervision of the Head of Office RMI and the direct supervision of the Project Officer (Community Resilience).
