Description:

Falck is a is a global emergency medical services provider originating from Denmark that services 3 states in the US including: California, Oregon, and Colorado. Falck has been operating in the US since 2010 and is one of the largest private providers of emergency medical services in the country today. Our BLS and ALS services impact not only the lives of our patients, but their families and communities.
Compensation: $80,000-$105,000

POSITION SUMMARY:

Falck USA is a forward-thinking organization dedicated to leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive business success. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of our network infrastructure, with a focus on hybrid domain setups, cloud migration, and stakeholder management. This will also include working on upgrades, changes and emergency patches as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring tools and techniques.
  • Strong experience with hybrid domain setups and cloud migration (preferably to Azure).
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune MDM.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Azure certifications) are a plus

Advanced Certifications: (optional but desirable)

  • Include any highly regarded certifications for network and cloud technologies, like AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Scripting and Automation: Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for network automation and process efficiency.
