Title: Field Engineer
Reports to: Project Manager
Role: The project engineer is an integral member of the project team responsible for delivering projects of varying size and complexity. The field engineer is responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities, under the direction of a Project Manager (PM).

Responsibilities

· Provide assistance to the Project Manager
· Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, specifications and related documents
· Track quantities in the field
· Perform moderate to complex mathematical problems, proficient with accurate concrete take-offs
· Monitor and schedule material delivery
· Coordinate with field supervision
· Maintain project EEO bulletin board
· May act as a liaison between Company and Subcontractors, Utility Companies, Engineer and Owner
· Prepare correspondence and/or reports as required
· Follow-up on correspondence and outstanding requests for resolution
· Assist in creating monthly billings
· Participate in meetings with project manager, subcontractors, vendors and owners

· Other work as needed

  • BILINGUAL (Spanish\English) is a plus
