Description Field Engineering Intern responsibilities primarily include office work to support WOS Field Operations with various clients’ oil and gas wells. The candidate will work a regular office works schedule during core business hours (M-F, 8am-5pm) with occasional assistance required during evenings and weekends. to shadow experienced WOS specialists to gain hands-on experience, technical knowledge, and safe practices. At the discretion of both the candidate and WOS, the candidate can also assist with hands-on shop operations, machine shop operations, and in-person field operations to gain experience. To be successful in this role, the candidate should be comfortable with learning new tasks and working independently with high attention to detail. Requirements Current enrollment in engineering program in pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent Ability to learn new skills and execute with high attention to detail Ability to troubleshoot issues and work independently Ability to stand for long periods of time, and to lift and carry up to 35lbs Mechanical aptitude is highly preferred Regular office work schedule with flexible hours and opportunity for remote work Safe operation of motor vehicles and comfortability around large equipment · Learn computer-based tasks in support of WOS field operations, including pre-well modeling, post-job performance analysis, performance database maintenance, customer presentations, and tool failure investigations Work a regular office work schedule during core business hours (M-F, 8am-5pm) with occasional assistance required during evenings and weekends Promote a culture of superior service quality to support customer needs and relations Contribute to a multifaceted team of office, shop, field, and research personnel to deliver superior service quality to customers Identify areas of improvement in current processes, and offer solutions
