QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Practical knowledge of network systems and cabling.
  • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and troubleshooting software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Clear and effective communication skills for working with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, maintain, and repair hardware and field equipment at customer sites.
  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve equipment issues efficiently.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on systems.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide technical support.
  • Train customers on proper equipment usage and maintenance.
  • Document service activities, including repairs, parts used, and customer feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in field service technology and industry trends.

BASIC DUTIES:

  • Install hardware, including network cabling and related components.
  • Ensure software is properly configured and fully operational.
  • Assist customers during the setup process to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
