BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION:
Field liaison between the Engineering Office and Project Jobsite. Main objective is to gather all field dimensions for NWWI casework scope, which will require coordination with other construction trades – Including framing, plumbing, electrical, ceiling, flooring, wall finishes, etc.
** This job requires employee to navigate through active commercial construction jobsites. Employee must be extremely comfortable in such settings, including communicating with jobsite personnel, knowledge and conformance to all safety protocols, personal protective equipment requirements, and other general construction jobsite requirements. Employee must have proper safety footwear. NWWI will provide all other personal protective equipment.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Knowledge of millwork construction and installation techniques.
· Knowledge of general commercial construction trades and finishes.
· Ability to navigate and interpret construction documents.
· Organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks to be efficient.
· Ability to identify, communicate, coordinate, and resolve problems.
· Ability to use various measuring tools, such as a tape measure, laser measuring devices, angle measuring devices, electronic templating hardware, laser level, etc.
· Competent in simple mathematics.
· Efficient in Microsoft Office software, Dropbox, and other software, ability to navigate and use MS Surface Tablet and desktop computer for daily tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

· Using NWWI shop drawings, gather all field dimensions required for NWWI to confidently enter the fabrication process.
· Coordinate with General Contractor as needed to ensure wall finishes, ceiling finishes, pluming locations, electrical requirements, and various other trade scopes are understood and accounted for.
· Address and resolve onsite issues stemming from incomplete measurements or other field related issues that prevent NWWI from entering the fabrication process.
· Relay site related issues to appropriate NWWI personnel.
· Address and resolve onsite issues that arise during fabrication.
· Address and resolve onsite issues that arise during post fabrication/installation.
· Coordinate with NWWI personnel as required for any other site needs.
· Attend jobsite meetings as required.
· Small deliveries – finish samples, countertop/shelf supports, brackets, misc. cabinet parts/pieces as needed.
