Job Description About the Role The Field Engineer will be an on-the-ground quality presence at supplier factories in South Vietnam and beyond when required. Acting as a proactive in-factory auditor Ensures suppliers are having processes in place to ensure product quality is managed correctly from development to bulk production This role sits within QIMA technical team and reports to the Technical & Operations Quality Director. Key responsibilities: Maintain a thorough working knowledge of each assigned factory: layout, production management team, and quality manager contacts. Review the weekly production schedule every Monday (based on weekly assignments) & plan factory visits accordingly. Prioritising factories with new products launching or upcoming pre-shipment inspections (PSIs). Shadow Final Product audits before shipments Daily concise field report with a clear summary of issues Attend weekly meetings Qualifications Think you have what it takes? First of all, we want someone with: Minimum 5-6 years' experience in Footwear (Priority) & garment/accessories production, or 5-6 years in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment in Vietnam. Strong understanding of production processes, experience in Footwear preferred, more than one category is a plus. Able to read and interpret technical files, quality reference standards, and measurement specifications. Comfortable working independently in factory environments with minimal day-to-day supervision. Reliable, self-motivated, and thorough in attendance and reporting - this role requires consistent physical presence at factories Frequency in factories: minimum 80% of the time Based in Ho Chi Minh City.
