We are on behalf of our client looking for a Field Engineer - Surface Treatment and Insulation for a project in Stavanger, Norway.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

• Bachelor, Master or other relevant education and experience
• 5 years relevant experience.
• Need experience in the “Architect & HVAC” fields.
• FROSIO inspector level III, certified as NACE coating inspector level III or ICorr inspector level III in surface treatment and insulation.
• Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
• Valid work permit in Norway (or being located within the EU)

• Assist the production with interpretation of drawings and job packages. Support Fabrication.
• Assist the production with solving of technical problems during the execution of building- or installation work at a construction site.
• Engineering with technical documentation and solutions.
• Seek for continual improvement of work processes and products within own responsibility area.
• Contribute to interface up against relevant disciplines, Fabrication, Engineering, Planning department and Production etc.
• Continually strive for good HSSE and quality performance throughout the work.
• Establish and follow up technical queries and seek Construction friendly solutions.
• Inspections/examination of structure before surface treatment
• Paint inspection (before, during and after)
• Insulations inspection
• Enter and close punch in the IT system.
