FIELD ENGINEER

Based at: Southampton
Hours: 40 hours per week
Due to Vianet’s growth we have an exciting opportunity to join our Vianet team as a Field Engineer working with some of the biggest companies in the UK. The purpose of this role is to provide first class installation and maintenance service to all Vianet Customers across Hospitality and Self-Service machines to ensure the integrity of our equipment and data.

THERE ARE SOME ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE:

· Ability to build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders
· Experience and knowledge of installing data devices to different machines/assets
· Ability to manage stock levels
· First rate organisational and time management skills
· Good communication skills both verbal and written; the ability to communicate effectively using various mediums (face to face, email, phone)

Pay: £31,500.00 per year

Responsibilities

· To liaise with the planning team and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that customers are kept up to date with planned engineering work
· To effectively manage stock to ensure that service and installation work can be carried out within an SLA agreement
· Ensure all work is carried out to the relevant quality standards
· To accurately complete calibrations on beer dispense monitoring equipment
· Ensure that installation and service work are completed in a timely manner and therefore levels of productivity are maintained
· Ensure all customers are met in a professional manner
· Ensure all relevant health & safety guidelines are adhered to
· To maintain all company tools, equipment and technology, including vehicle and report in any issues
· To work in partnership with the Lead Engineer, feeding back on relevant issues
