FIELD FUEL SERVICE ENGINEER

Location: UK-wide travel required (Head Office: Bury, Greater Manchester)
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) + Paid Overtime
Contract Type: Full-time | Permanent | Typically 50 hours/week (flexibility required)

THE ROLE

This is a practical, hands-on role with national travel, delivering a wide range of field-based fuel maintenance and environmental services. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, learning and performing critical tasks such as fuel testing, tank cleaning, polishing, transfer, and decommissioning. You’ll also support clients on-site and play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fuel transfer, polishing, and filtering to maintain fuel quality
• Tank base cleaning and system decommissioning
• Installation and removal of fuel tanks and associated pipework
• Carrying out on-site inspections and customer consultations
• Supporting and leading site surveys, with detailed report preparation
• Preparing and submitting RAMS documentation for projects
• Ensuring strict compliance with health & safety policies and procedures
• Monitoring stock levels (PPE, tools, and consumables)
