DESCRIPTION:

The Field Human Resources Representative acts as a strategic and practical partner supporting managers and employees across high desert plant locations. This role is centered on the field and is responsible for delivering HR solutions that align with business goals, offering guidance on HR best practices, and promoting employee engagement, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. This position will serve with a strong understanding of field operations, capable of traveling regularly to various sites to support local leadership and employee relations efforts.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and coach.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, labor law, and organizational behavior.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and complex employee relations matters.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems (e.g., UKG) is a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to company locations (up to 60%)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist or HRBP role
  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, multi-site, or matrixed environment.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Punctuality and the ability to work in person while frequently traveling to job locations.
  • Field/plant-based HR experience in manufacturing, construction, or heavy industry strongly preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience supporting multi-site operations.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
