  • 80% Travel

Support BFS IT Field Operations team at various locations with Network infrastructure set up & design, infrastructure cabling, site standardization, User Support and set up. Involves frequent travel to BFS field locations for on-site support.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
  • 0-2 years relevant work experience.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience in the following would be preferred but not required for consideration for the position:
  • AutoCAD (any drawing/engineer software)
  • Cabling infrastructure installation, and/or experience in Network design installation.
Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works with senior team members on workflow around system upgrades.
  • Deploys required patches for identified gaps.
  • Performs routine operating system and hardware preventative maintenance based on hardware and operating system best practices.
  • Supports selection and/ or deployment of tools and processes to support operations and administration of enterprise infrastructure.
  • Understands and consults on system backup plan, documenting, and logging process.
  • Tests disaster/system recovery and provides input to updates.
