JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires hands-on experience with computer hardware, networking, and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to work effectively in diverse environments.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a similar field engineering role or related technical position.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and their functionalities.
  • Familiarity with computer networking principles and practices.
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various tools effectively.
  • Experience working with security systems such as CCTV and Telecare equipment is highly desirable.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients while delivering exceptional service in a professional manner.

    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: £11.44-£15.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment including CCTV and Telecare equipment.
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine project requirements and specifications.
  • Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper installation and functionality of systems.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools for installation tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues on-site, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Document installation processes, modifications, and maintenance activities for future reference.
  • Telecommunicate with team members and clients to provide updates on project status and resolve any queries.
