What you will do Field Line Managers are pivotal in the ongoing coaching and development of a team of our skilled engineers. With a requirement of excellent communication and customer service skills along with people management and the ability to develop and manage a team, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of successful service engineers in a very fast paced transactional environment. Manage Service Contracts Manage Retrofit Projects Interacting daily with clients to understand their needs and represent the company in the field. How you will do it Your expertise in large project executions and in-depth knowledge of security systems solutions in the Middle East region will be crucial. You will: Organize the day-to-day duties and operation of the team, resolve operational problems, deal with customers and liaise with other members of staff. Be responsible for the implementation of procedures for the execution of work, briefing instructions to the staff in a timely fashion and ensuring that best practice is exercised. Working with the planning team, plan and schedule manpower and equipment requirements for programmed jobs, guaranteeing that the jobs are completed within the specified time frame and budget allocated. Management and monitoring of engineers’ documentation to ensure both accuracy and expediency, including certifying timesheets for correct hour booking and appropriation. Conduct regular safety and quality audits on the Engineers and Sub-Contractors to ensure that the employees are using the correct equipment in the correct manner. Manage and monitor Health & Safety of allocated staff and Sub-Contractors, ensuring compliance with all legislation and Tyco’s Zero Harm policy is embedded. Identify training needs by means of regular assessment with the engineers to identify any shortfalls and encourage the development of the team. This includes conducting annual appraisals and the direct management of designated team of engineers. Proactively manage work in hand to ensure accuracy of forecast and job completion. Monitor and control allocated job budgets and justify variations to these. Manage customer relationships and minimize disputes whilst liaising directly with the Credit Control Department What we look for Required Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or a similar discipline from a reputable university. Minimum of 10-12 years of project engineering experience in executing low voltage security systems. Recent leadership experience in the GCC region. Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, labor management, and influencing skills. Clear understanding of Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) regulations. Fluency in English and excellent email etiquette. Strong decision-making skills. Preferred Project management certification such as PMP. Experience working with Tier 1 Customers. Ability to converse and write in Arabic. Additional certifications related to contracts and project program management, such as MS Project. Certifications in various security system products.
