Role Purpose As a Field Maintenance Technician, you’ll own aircraft inspections, diagnostics, and both routine and non-routine maintenance across our fleet. You’ll troubleshoot technical issues, repair or replace components, and ensure full compliance with safety regulations and technical standards. You’ll test, evaluate, and resolve issues before they impact operations — maintaining the highest levels of reliability, safety, and performance. You are the first line of technical support on-site. When issues arise, you step in, diagnose fast, and get us back flying. What You’ll Be Responsible For Providing weekend on-site support (Thursday–Monday) Acting as first-line technical support during live operations Transporting aircraft between our test site in Offaly and Dublin when required Troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing Manna drones and support systems Managing on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and system testing Diagnosing faults and determining effective, safe solutions Producing detailed service and maintenance reports Documenting processes and protocols clearly and accurately Collaborating with technical teams and sharing information across the organisation Making recommendations and briefing teams on repairs, diagnostics, and specifications What We’re Looking For 5+ years’ experience in a field maintenance or similar technical role Relevant technical qualification Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical ability Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic capability Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment Clear communicator who stands by decisions and takes ownership Confident working cross-functionally with technical teams Full clean driver’s license Flexible and adaptable — operations don’t stand still
Responsibilities
The technician will be responsible for owning aircraft inspections, diagnostics, and performing both routine and non-routine maintenance across the drone fleet. They will act as the first line of on-site technical support, diagnosing issues quickly to ensure operations can resume.
