About The Role Our Infrastructure Services – VIC Electricity team are growing and have a new position for a Field Manager who will be responsible for the on-site supervision and coordination of works being delivered to the electricity infrastructure services across Victoria. Reporting to the Manager, this role supports the safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery of field works through effective management, scheduling coordination (with managerial support), site inspections, and field validation of completed works and contractor claims. This is a permanent full-time position based from our Dandenong South Depot with site travel required and offering flexible working environment. Other responsibilities as required: Supervise and manage the delivery of electricity infrastructure works across multiple sites and where they integrate with Ventia internal workforce. Act as Ventia’s on-site representative, providing operational direction and guidance. Monitor performance against scope, schedule, safety, quality, and client requirements. Escalate performance issues and risks to the Manager as required. Coordinate workforce onsite to meet project schedules. Adjust schedules in response to network access, safety, or operational priorities. Liaise with internal teams and contractors to align delivery. Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, electricity safety regulations, and Ventia systems. Conduct safety inspections, audits, and toolbox talks. Verify inductions, licenses, competencies, and safety documentation. Report and assist with investigation of incidents and hazards. Inspect completed works against specifications and standards.
