MINIMUM EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing
  • Proven ability to work closely and successfully with a sales organization
  • Proven ability to successfully execute a variety of marketing programs, including targeted direct mail and email, field events, social media, executive engagements, awareness campaigns
  • Experience with marketing automation systems to successfully run campaigns
  • Ability to work very independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytics, reporting, and written communication skills
  • Rigorous attention to detail and focus on quality of deliverables
  • Ability to travel up to 35%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • A knowledge or previous experience of the MEA region is a big plus
  • Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus
  • An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience in B2B and B2C demand generation environment preferred
  • Ability to earn trust through performance and relationship-building
  • Prior experience working in a technical business setting with engineers or in engineering simulation is a plus

Responsibilities

SUMMARY AND ROLE PURPOSE

The Field Marketing Manager MEA will develop, manage and evolve marketing programs for the Ansys Middle East, Turkey & Africa sales teams. This position works closely with key program stakeholders including product marketing managers, industry marketing managers, product managers, support teams and Ansys regional sales teams. The primary objective of the role is to drive demand generation through successful campaign execution (physical, Hybrid or Digital)
The understanding of key territory and industry trends, strategic market opportunities and sales priorities is a must.
The Field Marketing Manager for Middle East and Africa will work closely with the sales teams in Middle East, Africa and Turkey but also with the Channel Partners with whom we have a sell with approach. Building a trusted partnership and relationship with the regional channel partners will be crucial to the success of the role.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for strategic planning and executing marketing strategies.

  • Strategy development: Develop and implement an account-specific marketing strategy for accounts or region.
  • Account analysis & research: Research and analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to develop value propositions that address industry-wide trends, challenges and goals.
  • Budget management: Manage the MEA field marketing budget efficiently, allocating resources for maximum impact. Evaluate all campaigns’ impact and ROI to determine the success and forecast for potential future investment.
  • Program management: Manages overall process of planning, organizing, and executing campaigns from start-to-finish. Define in-person and virtual event experiences, including shaping the event themes, content, agenda, and goals. Work with local vendors to ensure maximum professional impact & experience.
  • Reporting & analytics: Monitoring the effectiveness of marketing activities and providing reports on campaign performance, including metrics like attendance, lead generation, etc.
