Employee Contract Type: Local - Fixed Term Employee (Fixed Term) Job Description: #MAJOR_RESPONSIBILITES Responsible for commodities/Cash/vouchers distribution, monitoring and loss reporting of these commodities/Cash/ Voucher if any. Liaise with Distribution coordinator to plan the Cash/Voucher/ commodities reception and distribution to beneficiaries Immediately record all voucher/cash transferred to beneficiaries and losses if any. All observations must be recorded immediately. Supervise the collection of project documents and forms from the sites and send them to the Grant supervisor for the preparation of the monthly distribution plans for every commune Based on the distribution plan for each site and actual man-days, submit monthly commodity/Cash/Voucher request for approval by Grant Coordinator. Supervise the distribution of the Cash/Voucher/ commodities by other partners and mother leaders to Beneficiaries. Beneficiaries must sign or thumb print against their names on the beneficiary lists as proof that they received the money planned on monthly basis. Ensure that beneficiaries are served their monthly money with dignity, focus on their protection and safety. Ensure that the distributors complete all forms and records pertaining to Cash/commodities distributions. These forms must be completed and updated periodically as required. Ensure proper accounting of all quantities of vouchers/cash/commodities received and distributed at each center. Perform any other duty that may be assigned from time to time Grants Coordinator: Report on any issues related to food/voucher/cash program implementation, its progress toward goals, challenges, etc. Submission of Cash distribution reports on regular basis and when necessary Community & Beneficiaries: Coordinate and mobilize communities for distributions. Manage distribution and ensure that it is according to World Vision standards Key local Stakeholders: Coordination, networking, continuous communication and influence / advocacy building. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Qualifications: Education and Experience: The holder of this position should have minimum A2 diploma in agriculture. This position requires a mature candidate, a self-starter, with dedication and ability to work with less or no supervision. Must demonstrate willingness to learn and work with others as a team. Candidates should also have at least two years’ previous experience in a related field. Ability to perform field assignments and willingness to travel with motorbike for long period of time in difficult terrain, harsh and demanding conditions. Candidates should also be willing to live and work in very difficult and security-risk areas Good command of oral and written English, or French a must. Computer literacy is an added advantage. A mature Christian who shows a desire to serve humanity and to strengthen his/her relationship with the Lord.
