Description JOB TITLE: Field Nurse Supervisor EMPLOYER: Twelfth One, LLC dba Aspen Infusion DEPARTMENT: Nursing REPORTS TO: Director of Nursing SUMMARY: The RN Supervisor for Field Nursing in Home Infusion oversees the delivery of high-quality infusion nursing services provided in patients' homes. This role ensures the clinical competence of field nurses, supports professional development, maintains regulatory compliance, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe and effective care. The RN Supervisor also performs direct patient visits as needed and serves as a clinical resource for staff. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise and support a team of field-based infusion nurses to ensure quality care and adherence to clinical protocols. Perform clinical ride-alongs and audits to evaluate nursing performance and identify training needs. Provide oversight and collaboration with the Clinical Educator and DON in planning and implementing orientation and continuing education activities to ensure field nurses maintain clinical competency. Monitor compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards (e.g., ACHC, HIPAA, OSHA). Oversee scheduling and nurse assignments to ensure efficient and timely patient coverage. Serve as a liaison between field nurses, patients, physicians, the pharmacy, and administrative teams. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in incident/complaint investigations. Maintain accurate records of nurse performance, training, licensure, and compliance documentation of assigned team. Provide direct patient care and clinical assessments when necessary, including on-call support. Participate in performance evaluations and contribute to hiring and disciplinary processes. Provides clinical advice and expert consultation to clinical staff and others; assists in establishing nursing goals and objectives. Keeps up to date on the overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions. Ability to be on-site as required by the manager, at a minimum of once a month. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises the field team within the Nursing department and any other assigned staff Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Nursing Degree: Registered Nurse (RN) with a BSN or higher preferred. Must possess a current Arizona RN license. Must possess a current BLS certification. A minimum of 5 years RN experience is required; home healthcare or infusion therapy experience is preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Proof of TB screening. Strong charting/documentation skills. Ability to understand and adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols. Commitment to excellence and high standards.
