Job Details Job Location: Naples, TX 75568 Salary Range: $26.00 - $30.00 Hourly Job Title: Field Office Assistant Company: Augment Professional Services (APS) Location: Project-Based / Field Office (Nationwide Projects) Employment Type: Contract | Contract-to-Hire | Direct Hire (Project Dependent) Position Overview Augment Professional Services (APS) is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Field Office Assistant to support EPC project teams on active construction sites. This role provides administrative, document control, and coordination support to field management, engineering, safety, and construction personnel on projects that may include Power Transmission & Distribution (T&D), industrial, or other large-scale infrastructure work. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced field office environment supporting multiple disciplines. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support to field leadership, including Project Managers, Superintendents, Engineers, and Safety staff Manage field office operations, including phones, email, filing systems, office supplies, and visitor coordination Assist with document control, including drawings, RFIs, submittals, transmittals, and daily reports Support onboarding and badging of craft labor, field staff, and subcontractors Track and process timesheets, manpower logs, and basic cost or productivity reports as required Maintain training, safety, and compliance documentation in coordination with site Safety personnel Coordinate meetings, site orientations, and project communications Assist with material tracking, delivery logs, and basic procurement documentation Interface professionally with client representatives, inspectors, subcontractors, and vendors Support project closeout documentation and record retention Qualifications Required Qualifications 2–5+ years of administrative or office support experience, preferably in construction, EPC, industrial, or utility environments Experience working in a field office or jobsite trailer environment Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project setting Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor Preferred Experience & Skills Prior experience on Power T&D, industrial, or heavy construction projects Familiarity with construction documentation (RFIs, submittals, drawings, daily reports) Experience supporting safety, quality, or project controls teams Exposure to EPC systems (Procore, P6, SharePoint, Aconex, or similar platforms) Basic understanding of jobsite safety requirements and protocols Work Environment & Physical Requirements Based in a field office or jobsite trailer on active construction projects Ability to walk active jobsites as needed Must be able to comply with site PPE requirements Work hours may vary based on project schedules Why Augment Professional Services (APS) APS delivers specialized technical and project support talent to leading EPCs and asset owners across the Power, Energy, Industrial, and Technology sectors.
