ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Responsibilities:

The primary purpose of this position is for the Field Officer to offer support and guidance to apprentice & trainees, assisting with the completion of their training as well as improve the retention and completion rates.
We will provide you with everything you need to do your job successfully including a vehicle, laptop and mobile phone. Being out on the road visiting host employers and apprentices/trainees will be part of your everyday so if you’re a true people person and you enjoy connecting and engaging with local business and apprentices then this is a fantastic opportunity!

Other duties will include:

  • Building and managing a caseload of apprentices and trainees
  • Establishing networks with key industry groups, local businesses, state and local government organisations, schools, job networks and RTO providers
  • Contributing to the establishment of procedures, processes and activities that ensure the efficient operation of field services in the GTO
  • Completing all documentation relating to host business vacancies, requesting quotes, contracts etc
  • Performance Management of apprentices and trainees
