Description

Reporting to the Team Leader Civil Maintenance this position is responsible for providing operational support across the Field Services Department in the delivery of civil construction and maintenance work associated with Council’s transport network and stormwater infrastructure to the required Maintenance Service Levels (MSL). As Field Officer Civil Maintenance at the City of Tea Tree Gully you will work in a diverse team, benefiting from challenges, variety and an opportunities to develop your career. Position Description - Field Officer Civil Maintenance Key responsibilities are: Work with the Team Leader, Civil Maintenance to deliver programmed and reactive civil works as required across the Field Services Department. Undertake activities that support the delivery of civil works programs and new civil projects to Council’s standards, plans and specifications. Work collaboratively to deliver services and to identify improvements to work practices and procedures. Comply with all relevant organisational codes, policies, procedures, guidelines, standards and legislation. You will be rostered on a 9-day fortnight schedule, optimising your work time while offering flexibility. About you: Experience operating civil maintenance and plant equipment Innovative thinking and a practical approach to problem solving and negotiation Competent IT skills that enable the use of corporate systems in the day-to-day work activities Demonstrated ability to perform labouring duties associated with civil maintenance activities The successful candidate will have: HR Licence, or willingness to obtain Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) / Work Zone Traffic Management (WZTM) Work Safely in the Construction Industry (Whitecard) Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check Apply today!
