  • Location: Regional South West (Albury and Wagga Wagga) flexible working arrangements available
  • Remuneration of $97,027 - $107,059 (Clerk Grade 5/6) plus superannuation & annual
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Undertake assessment and rating against the seven quality areas that make up the National Quality Standards
  • Conduct monitoring and compliance checks and recommend regulatory actions to address non-compliance effectively
  • Support investigations of complaints through site visits and evidence gathering
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to promote sector improvement.
    Field Officers draw on their expertise to work collaboratively with and support early childhood education and care services so they can continuously improve and deliver the best outcomes for children.     This role, part of the NSW Early Childhood Education and Care Regulatory Authority within the Department of Education, is at the forefront of regulating and supporting a vast sector that includes over 6,000 services. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE

  • Working With Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment
  • A driver license and ability to undertake short-term travel, as driving is an essential requirement of this role
  • Degree or diploma or in the process of attaining a diploma in a relevant discipline and/or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
