We’re growing fast, and looking for a Quechee, VT-based Field Operations Associate to help us do it right.

What You’ll Do
As a Field Operations Associate, you’ll be on the ground in Quechee every day, ensuring Portoro homes are flawless and guest-ready. You’ll serve as the last line of defense before check-in, and the first responder when something needs attention.

Your day-to-day includes:

• Inspecting multiple luxury homes to ensure they meet Portoro’s 5-star readiness standards
• Delivering restocking supplies (toiletries, linens, light bulbs, etc.)
• Performing light troubleshooting or maintenance (tightening handles, unclogging sinks, resetting WiFi routers)
• Responding in person to urgent guest or homeowner issues (arrival problems, quick fixes, last-minute surprises)
• Coordinating with vendors, housekeepers, and other service providers
• Tracking all your work through apps like Breezeway and Slack
• Jumping in on projects led by the Area Manager or Market Leader
• Acting as an on-site representative of Portoro’s hospitality and operational excellence

What You Bring

• 2+ years in short-term rentals, hospitality, property management, logistics, or field operations
• Obsessive attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• A calm, problem-solving mindset—you don’t panic, you plan and execute
• A reliable personal vehicle with storage space (mileage reimbursed)
• Excellent communication with guests, owners, and team members
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays
• A natural sense of ownership—you do what it takes to get the job done right

The Schedule

• Full-time, salaried position
• Must be based in the Quechee, VT area
• Schedule flexibility required (some days start early, some days run long)
• Weekend and holiday availability is expected based on guest flow
