ABOUT US:

Mint Asset Management is a growing property management company serving commercial and multi-family residential buildings across the GTA. We pride ourselves on delivering hands-on, responsive service to both our clients and tenants.
We are looking for a Field Operations Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time role with contract employment, meaning you will invoice the company monthly for your services. The ideal candidate is mobile, detail-oriented, and skilled in tenant relations, vendor coordination, and on-site problem-solving.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable vehicle (work vehicle may be provided for the ideal candidate).
  • Previous experience in property management, building operations, or facilities maintenance preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions.
  • Knowledge of basic building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) is an asset.
  • Comfortable using email, mobile apps, and property management software for updates and reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Visit each managed property weekly or as often as needed to inspect and assess maintenance needs.
  • Respond to tenant maintenance requests by inspecting the issue on-site.
  • Recommend appropriate vendors from our approved list and coordinate work orders.
  • Maintain strong, professional relationships with tenants and vendors.
  • Ensure maintenance issues are resolved quickly, cost-effectively, and to standard.
  • Monitor property conditions, noting preventative maintenance needs.
  • Provide weekly reports to management on property conditions, completed work, and outstanding issues.
  • Support move-ins, move-outs, and inspections when needed.
  • Represent the company professionally while on-site.
