EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred but not required (i.e., Petroleum Engineering, Petroleum Geology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering).
  • 5+ years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Industry required.
  • Management experience in leading a team to successfully complete technical projects.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

This position must possess and demonstrate expertise in chemical circulation, operational processes, maintenance, troubleshooting refinery or petrochemicals or gas plant challenges, as well as team management and communication techniques.
All position responsibilities must be performed in accordance with local, state, federal, and Company regulations and requirements.
Wage Range: 80000.00 - 95000.00 per yea

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain constant communication with managers, staff, customers, and vendors to ensure safe and professional operational standards for the Company.
  • Partner with the Director of Sales, Operations and Logistics, and other Operations, to ensure the job calendar is up to date, that crew needs are evaluated and assessed and that job site walks are conducted when required.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
  • Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity.
  • Travel to all job sites to meet customers, make QC and safety inspections and to ensure clear communication between the customer, operations, and sales.

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with HR, Sales, Operational leads and safety to ensure that activities remain compliant. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve ways to complete tasks more efficiently to save the company money.
  • Ensure that operational activities remain meet agreed upon timeframes and stay within budget.
  • Review work scopes and risk mitigation plans for each service. Update as needed.
  • Implement a strategy to familiarize all foremen and techs with service requirements.
  • Standardize processes for a consistent product and reliable outcomes on jobs.
  • Create and maintain an Operations division SOP in partnership with the Director of Sales.
  • Implement the SOSPES app or other safe work practices app tool to regularly perform and monitor BBS, inspections, near misses, incident reports, and site audits, for record keeping and ongoing safety training.
  • Become proficient in Chemical Circulation in Place (CIP) and Thermal Oxidizer (TO) processes and operations, and other services that SENTRO Technologies may come up with.
  • Standardize training and set up class work and a credentialing program with certification for each service after benchmarks have been tested and met.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of all equipment. Keep records.
  • Maintain a program for the Company’s truck fleet and trailers to include regularly monitoring rental costs, ongoing maintenance, and trailer evaluations.
  • Maintain a program company FR uniform and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the employees, ensuring that if uniform or PPE provided is lost or damaged, a replacement is provided and charged.
  • Oversee customer requirements for MSAs or agreements with the aid of the sales team.
  • Keep accurate records for each job, job costs, to keep spending controlled and meet profitability goals of the company.

Team Management:

  • Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution.In partnership with HR and Operations Manager (Administrative):

    • Forecast staffing requirements and identify, hire, train foreman and technicians.
  • Coordinate entrance badges and work permits for the crew to start the job, including all safety requirements (ISNetworld, Avetta, Opacity reading, other trainings, etc.)
  • Review and approve all timesheets, job expenses, and any billing paperwork needing your approval in a timely manner.
  • Oversee materials and inventory.
  • Prepare crews to be ready to work early Monday morning. This may include coordinating start driving on Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays, with trailers, equipment, PPE, chemicals, and documents/credentials that are required for the job.
  • Resolve operations and safety challenges that arise during the job, including night shifts, weekends and holidays if required.
  • Conduct regular job site audits for compliance with housekeeping and site safety measures.
  • Provide outstanding leadership and training to team members, to maximize work output and work quality.
  • Incentivize work performance to promote long-term tenure with the Company.
  • Establish goals and expectations for the evaluation of all staff; monitor and conduct training to ensure accuracy, compliance, and overall effectiveness.
  • Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management.
  • Provide topics and agendas for weekly safety meetings.
  • Provide topics and agendas for weekly sales/operations meetings, to review workload and upcoming projects.
  • Quarterly employee evaluations performed.
  • Participate in HR functions to mentor, coach/counsel, discipline, and terminate team members.
  • Other duties as assigned or as they become apparent.
