POSITION OVERVIEW:

Southern Structural Solutions is actively seeking a motivated and resilient Structural Crew Supervisor to effectively lead our construction teams in delivering high-quality residential structural repair services across Central Arkansas. The ideal candidate will excel at managing crews in challenging, often uncomfortable environments, prioritizing safety, and strictly adhering to project timelines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of proven supervisory experience leading structural or construction crews, particularly in foundation repair, structural framing, drainage, waterproofing, or related fields.
• Exceptional ability to follow and enforce strict project timelines with a disciplined and proactive approach.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, successfully motivating teams in physically demanding, outdoor working conditions.
• Ability to comfortably work in confined spaces, crawlspaces, and challenging weather conditions.
• Strong commitment to job-site safety, including thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices.
• Experience interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, especially in high-pressure environments.
• Physically capable of regularly lifting 50–100 pounds and performing duties involving extended periods of kneeling, bending, and manual labor.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certification or formal training in construction management or related fields.
• Previous hands-on experience with foundation repair pilings, structural framing, crawlspace encapsulation, concrete work, drainage installation, waterproofing, and/or epoxy coatings applications.
• Familiarity with specialized tools such as orbital grinders, chemical mixing/application, and epoxy flooring systems.

• Lead, supervise, and motivate a crew of 3-5 technicians, promoting teamwork and accountability in physically demanding conditions.
• Ensure strict adherence to project timelines and budgets, proactively identifying potential delays or risks, and implementing corrective actions promptly.
• Assign daily tasks clearly, monitor team performance, and ensure completion meets company quality standards.
• Communicate regularly with project managers, providing timely updates on job progress and any required adjustments.
• Conduct thorough job-site inspections to ensure adherence to safety guidelines, structural standards, and company policies.
• Provide hands-on training and mentorship to crew members, emphasizing skill improvement, safe practices, and technical proficiency.
• Operate and maintain job-related tools and equipment, including grinders, drills, and chemical applications for structural repairs, concrete work, and coatings as needed.
• Manage material inventory on job sites and coordinate replenishment with Production Managers.
