We are currently seeking: Field Operations Manager
The Field Operations Manager leads and oversees all functions of field operations and customer service for the Service and Maintenance department in the assigned region including supervises field and office personnel, fosters interdepartmental coordination, and manages client relationships to ensure goals are met and exceeded.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Proven leadership and managerial capabilities with cross-functional team oversight.
  • Extensive knowledge of preventative maintenance practices, electronic security systems, and field operations.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in job costing, billing, and budget development.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other project/service management software.
  • Ability to interpret operational data and use insights for continuous improvement.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diplolma or equivalent required.
  • Five years of related experience required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 80 pounds at a time.
Responsibilities

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages to ensure operational department procedures are being followed
  • Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned staff.
  • Trains and mentors service and maintenance personnel
  • Oversees daily activities and scheduling of field and administrative staff.
  • Conducts regular performance evaluations and enforces disciplinary procedures as needed in accordance with company policy.
  • Approves payroll time, PTO requests, and departmental expenses.
  • Identifies staffing needs and supports professional development to maintain a high-performing team.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directs day-to-day field operations service and maintenance activities for the assigned region including repairs, installations, warranty services, and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Collaborates with Estimating and Project Management teams to ensure seamless project handoffs and execution.
  • Supports and improves operational procedures, productivity tracking, and department health metrics.
  • Monitors operational efficiency and job performance of assigned region by analyzing performance data and activity reports.
  • Acts as primary escalation point for customer service concerns and warranty/service issues.
  • Assists in setting departmental budgets, pricing strategies, and cost management.
  • Coordinates with other support departments such as sales, human resources, finance, and shop to ensure successful field operations.
  • Conducts job site visits to ensure quality, compliance, and safety standards are being upheld.
  • Provides technical assistance to field crews to ensure projects are complete.
  • Ensures Quality Control.
  • Provides support to Estimators when needed to ensure projects are bid correctly and on time.
  • Supports Project Managers with site and crew needs as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
