Description
Description About the Role The Field Operations Specialist is an essential early hire for First Ring Fleet, supporting the creation of our operational backbone and ensuring vehicles are sourced, prepped, and delivered with a great customer experience. You’ll assist with process design, vendor evaluation, and tool setup, then take on more hands-on field work overtime - coordinating transport, upfitting, wraps, inspections, and delivery preparation. You’ll partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, contribute to clear operating guides and playbooks, and learn new skills as responsibility grows. If you’re a detail-driven, customer-minded operator who enjoys building structure in a startup environment, this role is for you. What You’ll Do Early Stage (Support & Build) Assist in designing and documenting process standards for sourcing, transport, inspections, upfitting, wrapping, and delivery. Help evaluate vendors and partners (transporters, upfitters, wrap/graphics shops) and support onboarding. Contribute to tool and system setup (asset management tool, CRM, documentation) and maintain clean data. Draft and maintain operating guides and checklists for consistent execution. Support pilot deliveries and early customer onboarding; flag issues and suggest improvements. Mid- & Long-Term (Execute & Grow) Coordinate vehicle sourcing and intake with dealers, OEM partners, and used-vehicle channels. Schedule and track transport logistics, manage status updates, and ensure smooth handoffs between vendors. Support upfitting and wrap coordination to keep timelines on track and specifications accurate. Conduct or assist with inspections and quality checks to confirm vehicles are delivery-ready. Prepare for customer handover and support on-site orientations as needed. Ensure a smooth, professional customer experience by communicating clearly, translating needs into action, and maintaining high quality standards. Learner’s mindset: eager to build new skills and grow responsibility over time. Builder mentality: motivated by creating structure and clarity.
