Feracon is a well-known pest control company operating in the Auckland region, with our head office based in Albany. We specialise in ground pest control, targeting possums, Rabbits, Ungulates and various other predators. This position is perfect for those who are passionate about conservation, excel in a fast-paced working environment, and take pride in providing exceptional service. The role: If the outdoors is where you thrive, this could be the role for you. Spend your days working across farmland, forests, and remote landscapes while helping protect New Zealand’s native environment and wildlife. You’ll work alongside an experienced team using a range of pest control methods including live capture, leg-hold, and kill traps, as well as bait stations and targeted toxin control. You’ll help install and maintain long-term trap networks designed to manage pest populations and support conservation efforts. Every day is different, but the goal is the same, protecting our ecosystems while working safely and responsibly. Location: Auckland and the surrounding areas, with occasional travel to other parts of the country as needed for support on various projects Working Hours: 45 hours, Monday to Friday, anytime from 7AM to 4PM, with the possibility of weekend work, overnight stays, and occasional travel away from home time to time. Requirements: Fit and capable of carrying heavy loads over steep terrain Comfortable working outdoors in all weather Able to work away from home for the working week A good communicator with a solid commitment to health and safety Positive, reliable, and willing to learn Able to work independently in the field and manage time efficiently Eligible to work full-time in New Zealand NZ driver's licence with a clean driving record Able to drive off-road vehicles Clear criminal record Preferred Certifications/ Licenses (Not mandatory) Previous experience or qualifications in pest control or biosecurity work. First Aid Certificate ATV, LUV, or 4WD qualifications GrowSafe or Controlled Substance Licence NZ Firearms Licence Chainsaw use - NZQA unit standards or related training Why join us?
